Our constitutional right to bear arms and the desire to learn about the safe operation of those arms is supported by the RSFRWF through the institution of the Lady Shooters. The Lady Shooters meet every 2nd Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the American Shooting Center on Ruffin Road.
The monthly event was started by Board Member, Jody Bray, in the 1990's along with another organization. While Ms. Bray was President in the early 2000's, the RSFRWF became the only sponsor. At the first "revamping" Shooters meeting in 2008, 35 ladies attended the safety class conducted by Bruce Ruff, former sherriff. It was also named after Madeline Cosman at that time. Now a cozier group of about 10 or so attend each Shooters outing.

Chrisi Hard is a Rancho Santa Fe Republican Women member and a runner. She also has a daughter who was diagnosed in second grade with Bipolar Disorder. She has spent countless hours volunteering for the International Bipolar Foundation and she'll be running in the 2012 Carlsbad Marathon to support the foundation. Senator Wyland continues to demonstrate what a hard-working senator he is within a legislature dominated by liberal thinking. He continues to do what he can to make it easier for businesses to operate in California in hopes of stimulating job growth. As his term ends soon, we will miss him. The Senator presented his "Volunteer of the Month" Award to Jody Bray who has served the club in many capacities. She has lead as President many times and is currently the Membership Secretary. protect workers from the abuses of compulsory unionism.

We never want to forget our men and women who fought and died for freedom and the preservation of the principles upon which our country was founded. Veteran Chaco Clotfelter was our Emcee and 4th U.S. Secretary Veterans Affairs, Anthony Principi was our Keynote Speaker. Veteran John Tanner gave the invocation. Kent Colliander and Bob Chase, also veterans, raised the flag. And Dr. Roger Rowe, also a veteran, led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. We want to thank Dr. Jack Wheaton for his patriotic music and the Rancho Santa Fe Association for extending to us the use of their patio.
It was a wonderful Veterans Day Celebration with Anthony Principi.

Fifteen candidates spoke to an audience of 95 at our BEST PARTY in Town event on October 9, 2011 in the Courtyard of the Pantry Restaurant in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
