LADY SHOOTERS TO START AGAIN IN MAY

Our constitutional right to bear arms and the desire to learn about the safe operation of those arms is supported by the RSFRWF through the institution of the Lady Shooters.  The Lady Shooters meet every 2nd Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the American Shooting Center on Ruffin Road.

The monthly event was started by Board Member, Jody Bray, in the 1990's along with another organization.  While Ms. Bray was President in the early 2000's, the RSFRWF became the only sponsor.  At the first "revamping" Shooters meeting in 2008, 35 ladies attended the safety class conducted by Bruce Ruff, former sherriff.  It was also named after Madeline Cozman at that time. Now a cozier group of about 10 or so attend each Shooters outing.  If you'd like to attend the next Lady Shooters outing, please email: lilyjo33@aol.com.

DARRELL ISSA EVENT

A HUGE SUCCESS!!!

Over 100 people attended the February 22 Luncheon at RSF Country Club to hear Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.  The "Salute to America" speech impressed the audience with Issa's dedication and drive in furtherance of basic, conservative values.

RSFRWF President Brett Dieterich welcomed those attending and also gave closing remarks.

Vice President Gerda Snell introduced

Congressman Issa.

Members from all local TV channels covered the event.  Nick Dieterich was later interviewed by Channel 6.

 NICK DIETERICH

"MAN OF THE YEAR"

For hard work and dedication, Nick Dieterich was given the first ever "Man of the Year" award at Bentley's on March 21.  In addition to an outstanding

job of orchestrating press coverage for the Darrell

Issa Luncheon, we appreciate all of the good work

Nick has done to further the goals of RSFRWF!!

   A Letter from Our President:

IT'S YOUR FUTURE--GOOD, BETTER, BEST

It's always amazing how some people choose who to vote for when there is

more than one Republican running for a particular elective office.

The easy way is simply to vote for the incubent, if there is one.  After all, we know

him (or her); call him by first name; he knows us.  He seems to be okay.  I guess

he votes okay, although I haven't really followed his voting record.  And maybe

after thorough investigation this incumbent actually is the best.

Yet, we don't really know the other candidates.  We haven't bothered to meet

them, talk with them, check out their websites, find out their positions on issues,

or their backgrounds, philosophies.  And I say, "why not?"

It's probable that you spend more time investigating all options BEFORE

   choosing a TV, computer, I-Pad or I-Phone.

You would not so casually choose a surgeon or an employee for your company:

"He's OK.  I think he"ll probably be fine."  Most certainly you would spend the time

to WISELY investigte, interview and carefully choose not just a "good" doctor or

   employee.

We entrust our elected officials to make important decisions that will affect us,

our families, our future and our country.  There are often unseen or long-term

consequences to our decision making.  We cannot afford to shortchange or casually

   settle.

Planning for your future deserves careful consideration.  "Good, Better, Best.

Never let it rest.  Until your Good is Better and your Better is {the}BEST,"

   Saint Jerome (347-420 AD).

Vote for Republican; Vote for America!!

Sincerely,

Brett Dieterich,

President, RSFRWF
